Moments after the solid victory, 83-44, over Maine, coach Beard addressed the media, expressing his feelings about the game.

He expressed satisfaction for the second consecutive time for the good attendance and enjoyed the quick start the team had, as the Red Raiders began the game with an 11-0 run, and led 49-13 at the halftime.
