We heard you loud and clear and this week Tre King made sure he was worthy of OPOTW honors. King knotched his first career 100 yard game and averaged 4.7 yards per carry. King started the year as the #5 back and now appears to be our primary starter as he received 24 of the 28 carries.
What has seperated King from the pack this season is his versatility. He may be the only Tech back that has the ability to run between the tackles, run to the outside and catch the ball out of the backfield. That was evident on Saturday as he also added 4 catches for 22 yards. This won’t be the last we hear from this rising star.
