In what was a difficult day for the secondary, Desmon Smith showed to be a bright spot. Smith received the lone turnover of the game in the second half when it looked like the team was going to turn it around and regain momentum. Smith’s interception was one of the most incredible you will see and definitely a highlight of the year.
WHAT. A. PLAY.

He also had a strong game with three solo tackles and a pass deflection. Most importantly, Smith was one of the few secondary members to NOT get a pass interference penalty as he was able to play good sound defense. Good job Desmon, your career is only beginning.
