Tech returned home today for the SEC/Big 12 Challenge against the LSU Tigers. LSU is not that good of a team this year so this was a game where a loss hurts you way more than a win helps. The Red Raiders played a great first half that included only two turnovers and ten three pointers. At the break Tech lead 39-27. The second half looked a lot like the first with the Red Raiders maintaining a double digit lead the entire way.
Game Notes:
- The word on Twitter was Kennan Evans was out with an injury that happened at the end of the Baylor game.
Accurate. Happened on that last play vs BU. Tried to go today but couldn't. https://t.co/MhtforL6e1

@jdavidbaucum @ChrisLevel Sources tell me he hurt his leg on the "non foul" against BU.

- Texas Tech was 12 of 23 from the three point arc. You can win a lot of games shooting like that, but nothing I would depend on every night.
- Zach Smith was at it again! He had 25 points and 8 boards. This was a new career high.
: "He's due for one of those a night, at least." That's what we've been saying! #WreckEm #SCTop10 (Via @ESPNU) pic.twitter.com/9QcVAuGGXF
