Texas Tech Has the Saturday Off During Bye Week
Did anyone else have Red Raider football withdrawals? Texas Tech had the week off as they prepare for a Thursday night kickoff at 7:30 PM. In past contests it seems that the Red Raiders have come out flat against Kansas. Hopefully that trend ceases with this one being at home and at night. Although it isn’t Texas Tech’s most important conference game, it’s still a must-win.

In a collaboration with Viceland, The Red Raiders are featured in a mini-documentary about the team’s use of virtual reality in efforts to improve their game. It’s a well done piece which features coach Kingsbury and several players.

In what seems to be a gold-rush of commitments to play for Red Raider basketball, Coach Beard received another commitment from Lubbock Coronado product, Jarret Culver. The 3 star recruit will suit up for the Red Raiders in 2017.
