The voice of Texas Tech basketball and baseball and host of "The Bottom Line" is headed back to his alma mater.
We welcome Brian Hanni back to Lawrence as the Radio Voice of the Jayhawks https://t.co/ph41bQxGm7 #RockChalk pic.twitter.com/eyqB3BEIj2

Brian Hanni was a 2002 graduate of Kansas and a radio announcer for the Jayhawks from his graduation date until 2012, so this move makes a ton of sense. Hanni created "Rock Chalk Sports Talk" in Lawrence in the summer of 2002 and continued producing it until 2012.
Brian Hanni has an assortment of awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters, 25 to be exact, via the official Kansas announcement. In 2009 Hanni founded and still organizes a charity basketball game titled "The Rock Chalk Roundball Classic", which raises money for families fighting cancer.
Congrats to Brian, who served Texas Tech well when he was here. "The Bottom Line" was a staple in many Red Raider's lives, including my own. Working for your alma mater in your self professed dream job isn't a bad place to be at. Best of luck in Lawrence, Brian.
