Texas Tech has had a great Track & Field program in recent years, and this year shows no signs of slowing down. After the NCAA West Preliminaries in Kansas, the Red Raiders are sending 14 total athletes to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Here are some of the highlights.

The Men's sprint teams preformed extraordinarily well, sending the 4x400 and 4x100 teams to Oregon. The 4x100 team also includes Nigel Bethel, the Texas Tech DB who has announced his intent to transfer schools.

Hannah Carson continued her dominance in the field, qualifying for both the javelin and the discus, and placing herself at #2 in Texas Tech's all-time record book in discus.

Charles Brown heads to Oregon after qualifying for two events, the long and the triple jump. Brown is only a freshman, and is already #8 in Texas Tech's all-time record book for the triple jump.

Both Trey Culver and Bradley Adkins qualified in the high jump.
