The last time TCU and Texas Tech met, the Red Raiders were on a 4-game losing streak and they beat TCU to get back on track. Now, Texas Tech is riding high on a 4-game win streak and look to win 5 straight for the first time in its Big 12 history. Can Texas Tech make history tonight?

The Horned Frogs team leaders are still the same and their numbers are about the same from the last meeting. They have 3 players who average double-digit points per game in Malique Trent, Chauncey Collins and Vladimir Brodziansky. As a team, TCU is shooting 40% from the field which explains why the Horned Frogs have been struggling this year. As long as Texas Tech plays solid defense, they should win.

Since TCU last played Texas Tech they've gone 2-7 while the Red Raiders have gone 5-4. As you can tell, these two teams are going in opposite directions. At this point in the season TCU has nothing to play for but they hung around with Iowa St in their last game. TCU can be sneaky though, they beat UT earlier this season. It'll be interesting to see how the Horned Frogs come out against the Red Raiders.
Prediction
Texas Tech 77 - TCU 69
Texas Tech is favored by 11.5 tonight. I guess that's what happens when you win 4 straight with 3 of those wins coming against top teams in the Big 12 and the nation. I don't see the Red Raiders covering the spread but I do see them winning by 7 or 8. The team just can't overlook TCU and focus on Kansas or the Horned Frogs could pull off the upset.
