Late yesterday news broke that Texas Tech had named its CB coach and it looked like Kliff's staff for 2016 was set.

The Red Raiders tabbed the Louisiana Tech assistant as their new CB coach. Scott was the safeties coach a LA Tech and former Red Raiders coach Kevin Curtis was recently hired to coach corners. In his position with Texas Tech, Scott will be coaching corners. Scott returns to his home state where he played college football at McMurry University.
While Texas Tech looked set to start spring ball with a full staff, it was announced this morning that running backs coach Jabbar Juluke would be leaving for a position at LSU.

Before it was officially announced that Juluke was Texas Tech's RB coach, there were rumors going around that LSU was looking at Juluke. LSU lost their running backs coach to UTSA who hired Frank Wilson as its head coach. After the rumors died down, Texas Tech introduced Juluke as its RB coach. Juluke was only at Texas Tech for less than a month before leaving for LSU. He is a Louisiana native and this gives him a chance to coach in his home state for a powerhouse program. It just would've been nice that if he thought he had a chance to get on at LSU that he wouldn't have accepted the position with Texas Tech.
Hopefully Kliff will be able to fill his staff before spring practice starts.
