Red Raiders in the Pros - Week 12

Another week, another highlight-worthy catch from Crabtree

Michael Crabtree - WR (Oakland Raiders)

Coming into Sunday’s game against the Panthers Crabtree was listed as questionable to play, as he had been fighting an ankle injury and had not practiced over the week. He had a slow start to the game, continuing from last week in which he only had a few receptions for just 5 yards. As the Raiders were driving for what would be the game-winning drive, QB Derek Carr was under pressure and threw a deep pass down the middle of the field where Crab was being covered by a linebacker. That didn’t work out so well as Klein interfered with and ripped Crabtree’s helmet off, while Mike caught the ball anyways. You can see all of his highlights here as he finished the game with 8 receptions for 110 yards.

Cody Davis - S (Los Angeles Rams)

It’s been a quiet report for Cody during our weekly look at Red Raiders in the NFL, but that doesn’t mean he’s been silent or absent from helping out the Rams. He co-leads the team with 7 tackles on special teams and another 7 as a backup safety. This play has earned him Pro-Bowl considerations. Off the field, Cody’s wife Ashley had their first child, as they moved from St Louis to LA to make 2016 a busy and productive year.
