Texas Tech is now 4-1 after coming off a 3rd place finish in the Cancun Challenge. Up next is Idaho State out of the Big Sky Conference. Last year the Bengals went 16-15 with an 11-7 conference record. So far this season, Idaho State is sitting at 0-5 and very well could be the weakest opponent Tech faces all year.

Senior guard Telfair leads the way for the Bengals in most of the stats. Idaho State also features center Novak Topalovic, a seven foot red shirt sophomore, as the leading rebounder. The Red Raiders are a much better team and should be able to rotate enough bodies to keep Telfair and Topalovic under wraps. The one glaring team stat that has to mentioned is Idaho State's free throw shooting. As a team they are shooting only 52.9%.

The Bengals have not seen much success so far this season. I think their non conference schedule is going to help them improve this season, but only time will tell. All of their losses but one have been by about ten points so they are close.
Prediction
Texas Tech 88 - Idaho State 62
The Red Raiders are a much better team than ISU and I don't expect this to be close. I think our superior depth and talent will be the only thing that matters in this one. No excuses not to tune into this one to get you warmed up for the BUTT game at 5:00!
