A look at the lines for the championship games this weekend plus a couple last Big 12 games

Week 13 Recap

Rivalry week sure was a doozy last week. It started out with the game in Austin Thursday night, and then Baylor played in Ft Worth against TCU in a monsoon that was only a few degrees away from wintry weather. Saturday was full of great rivalry games, with a blowout in Bedlam, and up north in Ann Arbor. For the pick em, this was the last week where points could really be stacked up, either to move up in position, or to distance yourself from the others. This week only has 7 games, so the standings are pretty much going to remain the same. First, a look at last week and the updated overall points and records.

We all managed to stay above .500, and all managed over 300 points again. Ryan and Drew maintain their close records, while Hunter tries to get back to .500 for the season. This week will only have 7 games so only 73 points are up for grabs. Barring a disaster for Ryan (I might cut power to his house tonight), he should be the winner this season. Congratulations to him for staying at the top for 13 straight weeks. We will also have a Bowl Pick Em for the 41 bowl games that will be announced this weekend.

In Big 12 play, I put all my points (and hope) in the Red Raiders and it paid off. I also put lots of faith and points in Baylor, but that weather really changed the facet of that game. I'm not sure many people foresaw how badly OSU would play, as 3 of us all had them at least covering the spread, with a high point value attached.
