Week 10 Odds - Texas Tech vs West Virginia

A look at this week's odds plus a recap of the pick em results from last week.

Week 9 Recap

Ryan was an advocate for increasing the amount of games we pick, and last week we had 30. However, he had a rather bad week of picking, and Hunter had a very good week. Hunter gained 135 points on Ryan, whose once insurmountable lead has dropped to only 84 points. This week, there will be 5 more games to pick than last week, so even more points are on the table. Let's take a look at what has happened this season.....

One of the stranger things that happened this week was the identical record and resulting points between Drew and myself. As Hunter tries to chase down Ryan, the 2 of us are in a close battle for the next 2 spots, although Conner isn't very far behind. As for the in-conference games last week, Hunter went 4 for 4, even picking against our Red raiders, which isn't very American, even if it was the smart thing to do.

The rest of us are still placing the Tech game at a high point value, so clearly we all have the utmost confidence in the game. We'll see what happens tomorrow morning in Morgantown. Now that the Big 12 can no longer hold back the top 4 teams from playing each other, the next 5 weeks are going to be very fun, from all points of view. The conference standings are going to start taking shape, and the product on the field should be equally as high, and for the first time in weeks, all 10 Big 12 teams are playing.
