Michael Crabtree - WR, Oakland Raiders
Derek Carr, the young quarterback for Oakland who had been doing quite well this season, finally had a bad game, with under 200 yards passing. Oakland as a whole had only 214 yards of offense, getting stifled by the Lions. Crabtree had 6 catches on 11 targets for only 50 yards on Sunday, which was second on the team to a rookie, which has become a theme this year for Mike. This week it was Seth Roberts from Alabama, whose numbers were inflated with a 43 yard haul.
St. Louis Rams
Cody Davis, Wes Welker, and Bradley Marquez all play for the Rams now, who played in Baltimore in an ugly turnover-filled game on Sunday. The Rams turned the ball over 4 times, all fumbles. The Rams tried to jump start the offense with Case Keenum getting the start, but he only threw for 136 yards. Wes had 2 catches for 13 yards, while Marquez didn't have any catches. Bradley was also held off the stat sheet defensively, whereas Cody made 2 solo tackles. The Rams seem to be having troubles offensively, and we can hope that Marquez and Welker help out the young quarterback the rest of this season.
Danny Amendola - WR, New England Patriots
Danny led the Patriots in receiving on Monday night against the Bills, with 117 yards on 9 catches. His 12 targets led all receivers, and accounted for almost a third of Brady's passes. However, late in the 3rd quarter, on a TD run by James White, Danny was on a blocking assignment on the left side and was limping after the play, even though there was no contact made with another player. He came on the field later for a punt return but didn't return the ball and was limping again. He sat on the bench the rest of the game and it was announced that he had sprained his knee. The Patriots say his return will depend on how he does this week in practice, and may play next week against Denver if he has a good week. Before the injury, Danny had played in 45 of 50 offensive snaps, as he has become a key player in the Patriots offense after Edelman went out.
