Still waters run deep.

Why not try them all?
Why not try them all?
Ronald Martinez

It's a Thursday night game in Stillwater. If you happen to be in the area, we have a few places to check out during your stay. Bring me a souvenir.

Stillwater, OK

Hideaway Pizza (230 S. Knoblock)
I had a few people recommend the Hideaway, so that means if you are dissatisfied with your service, we will issue you a refund in the form of VTM Bucks.

Cherokee Strip BBQ (235 S. Perkins Rd)
From TTpilk645: "Pretty good BBQ. Not Lockhart worthy, but good none the less."

Eskimo Joe's (507 W. Elm St)

Mexico Joe's (311 E. Hall of Fame)

TTU ALUMNI Association Pregame Party

If you are in Stillwater for game day, join fellow Red Raiders for a pregame party at Palomino's Mexican Restaurant located at 1919 North Perkins Road. The fun will get started at 3:30 p.m. and will feature a special section for Texas Tech fans.

RECOMMENDATION OF THE WEEK:

The Back 40 Grill (5214 98th)

This place is brand spankin' new. We made it there last week and tried the nachos and the Back 40 burger, which is a half-pound burger topped with cream cheese and fresh jalapeno strips. The nachos are old school, made similarly to how they were first served with each chip receiving its toppings individually. We will be back, especially since we saw the chicken fried steak some of the other customers were ordering.

P.S. The guys over at Lubbock in the Loop (@lbkintheloop) tweeted yesterday that the Twisted Root has just opened. Along with that, Hurricane Grill & Wings is expected to open in mid-October, just east of the Jones.

What say you, VTMers?
