One on One with Kingsbury. I don't know how else to say this, so I'm just going to say it. That's just a beautiful haircut. I mean, it's just a thing of beauty. It's like impeccable. I bet Kingsbury gets it cut once a week. Thanks to NBC5.
Webb to the Maxwell Award Watch List. Congrats to Davis Webb for being named to the Maxwell Award Watch List. Probably just the first of many.
Congrats to Paul Hornung Award Watch List. Oh, another congratulations, this time to RB/LB Kenny Williams who was named to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List.
Look at Receiver. The DMN is taking a look at the inside and outside receivers and I think I'm good about a lot of this stuff, except for the fact that I never thought that Derreck Edwards was going to be that much in play at outside receiver and I don't know that his loss will be felt if Dominique Wheeler and Shawn Corker can't play. The first thing is that we really don't know what to make of any of those guys because those three really haven't played much. I guess I find it hard to think that one of them would be a loss given the fact that they haven't produced all that much. When I think of the outside receivers, I tend to think about Reginald Davis, D.J. Polite-Bray and Devin Lauderdale as the best and most realistic options on the outside and we have to wait and see what's there after that.
In other words, I think you have to have done something to think that the lack of that player will be felt. Without any real production from Edwards, Corker and Wheeler, it's tough to say that any of their losses will or will not be felt.
The DMN also combined all of the links for looks at the offense at one spot if you want to look at it.
BOTC Gets Us. One for every Big 12 team and they just get us. They totally get us.

Miscellaneous. Trent Dilfer wants to make the Elite 11 a cult (in a totally good way) . . . the NCAA recommends that football teams do less hitting in practice . . . This really shouldn't be buried as the last link, but I'm running out of time, via the Daily Toreador, the Texas Tech Police Department delivered their file to the Lubbock County DA's office and then it should head to the grand jury for indictment if they feel like they have enough information. I guess this also means that Amber Battle is willing to press charges against Nigel Bethel, II . . .
