Senior Outside Linebacker/Safety Terrance Bullitt will attempt to make an NFL roster this upcoming summer, and while it doesn't look like he'll be drafted, there's a chance that Bullitt will make an NFL roster. According to CBS, Terrence Bullitt will be an OLB at the next level. Let's take a look at Bullitt's measurables and possible outcomes in the NFL draft before we go any further.

Terrence Bullitt is listed as an OLB like Will Smith, but he has better chance to be drafted in the upcoming class. The reason why is because Bullitt is more athletic then some of the OLB in this class. Bullitt and Smith had a similar 40 time, short shuttle and three cone drill, while Bullitt was superior in the Vertical and Broad Jump. However, like Smith, Bullitt has a lack of strength that teams expect from NFL linebackers. He's going to have a hard time breaking through blocks and taking down some of the bigger RBs with his size and strength. One attribute that Bullitt has that some LBs don't is his athleticism and experience to play Safety. Although Bullitt won't be fast enough to play Safety in the NFL, this should help him when he has to cover RBs and TEs at the next level. Not only that, but he cuts better than some of the OLB in this class, which helps his pass defense even more. That is main reason Bullitt has a chance to be drafted. NFL.com thought the same thing about Terrance Bullitt.
Terrance Bullitt, LB (6-2 1/2, 226) — Bullitt ran the 40 in 4.71 seconds against the wind and 4.68 with the wind. He had a 40-inch vertical jump and 10-3 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 5.18 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.83 seconds. He performed 14 reps in the bench press. Bullitt is a really good athlete, but there are questions about his size and strength translating to the NFL. His athletic measurables should get him a look from an NFL team.
Unlike Will Smith, Terrance Bullitt didn't get an awards this season, which could possibly hurt him when teams are looking to pick someone late in the draft. In the past, Bullitt made two All Big-XII honorable mention, and in his sophomore year, Bullitt was able to make two Big-XII all second teams. Maybe a team takes a look at those accomplishments and thinks they can turn Bullitt into a playmaker in the NFL. Let's take a look at some teams who could possibly take a shot on Bullitt:
- Detroit Lions - Terrance Bullitt tweeted out a couple weeks ago that he would be in Detroit this weekend. I'm guessing that he means he will be working out for the Detroit Lions. Last year the Lions took a look at Texas Tech safety Cody Davis in draft process, but ended up not drafting or picking him up in Free Agency (eventually ended up with the Rams). Lions have serious defense issues outside the defensive line, and they could bring in a lot of guys to compete for spots for the upcoming season. Maybe Bullitt will be one of them.
- Houston Texans - Texans may try to grab some rookie free agents in the region, and Bullitt may be someone they pick up after the draft. Possibly Bullitt could come in and help the Texans LB core.
- New England Patriots - Belichick loves leaders and hard workers, something he finds a lot in Texas Tech players. With the Pats needing some help at linebacker and safety, Belichick may try to bring in the versatile and athletic Bullitt to see what he can do.
