There was a bit of news yesterday as some of the coaches spoke about the recruiting class, so I'll just link them in this paragraph and any miscellaneous links, I'll put below. The official site has all of the official signing, with all sorts of terrific information (via TexasTech).  OLB coach Mike Smith said that he was offered a position coach with the Cleveland Browns (via LAJ). Speaking of Mike Smith, he said that he thinks that Argyle S Connor Wilson is  projected to be at the Raider OLB spot:

"That’s something I wanted this class," said Smith, who coaches the outside linebackers. "We usually don’t take raiders. We usually find safeties that maybe over-grow, get too big and come to my room. I wanted a kid this year that can play it all four years he’s here. I had one kid to get in the state ofTexasor in the country and that’s who I wanted was ConnorWilson."

The only surprise yesterday was the commitment of Michael Coley, from Irving, who is going to play defensive back rather than receiver (via LAJ). OL coach Lee Hays said that he's talked to Le'Raven Clark about moving inside as Dominique Robertson has played mainly at left tackle (via LAJ). I think this would be a dangerous proposition.

Batson Follows Receivers: Receiver commit Cameron Batson followed a long line of receivers to Texas Tech (via NewsOK).

Newcomers to Contribute Now: HC Kliff Kingsbury said that he expects the newcomers to contribute now (via FSSW) and Ubben tells you what you need to know for each Big 12 team (via FSSW).

Kingsbury on the TV: Kingsbury joined CBS Sports (via CBSSports) and Campus Insiders to discuss the recruiting class (CampusInsiders).

All of the Walk-On Quarterbacks: Texas Tech will give QB Payne Sullins (6-3/175) a preferred walk-on spot.  Sullins played at Reicher Catholic HS in Waco and had some pretty good numbers, 3,000 yards passing and 30 touchdowns (via YouTube).

Madison Talks Signing: In the story, he's listed as JaTevin Madison, but we've always known him as Tevin Madison and he talks about signing day for him (via TuscaloosaNews).

Bouma Excited: Preferred walk-on Grant Bouma talks about signing his letter of intent (with video via 23ABCNews).
