The LAJ released their Fabulous 44, which included two Texas Tech commits, and Texas Tech received two commitments over the weekend.

Reese Strickland-US PRESSWIRE

The LAJ released their Fabulous 44 and Texas Tech had nine players make the top 100 and two that made the top 44, Mahomes and Stockton (via LAJ).  Here's the list of players that made the top 100:

QB Patrick Mahomes
RB Justin Stockton
WR Byron Daniels
WR Jakari Dillard
WR Ian Sadler
LB Dakota Allen
S Derrick Dixon
S Payton Hendrix
CB Jah'Shawn Johnson

There was an accompanying article that went with the list, which details how deep the defensive backs are within this class (via LAJ).

Stockton Ready: A short video feature on RB Justin Stockton and how he's ready to commit and how he also considers Mike Jinks a father-figure (via KENS5)

Murphy Talks Style: A good profile on Belton OL Justin Murphy, who talks about his style of play (via WacoTrib):

"I really like what they do," Murphy said. "They have an offense that really fits who I am as an offensive lineman. Because of my body type, I’m a more pass-oriented lineman. Though I can do both (run-blocking and pass-blocking), that fits me really well."

Two Commits: I'm running behind a bit and I'll get these profiles up as soon as possible, but over the weekend, Shaquille Davis, a 2014 JUCO offensive lineman from Mt. San Antonio C.C. (Walnut, CA) committed, as well as Corey Dauphine, a 2015 running back from Port Arthur, Texas (via LAJ). The DMN has more on Dauphine's commitment (via DMN).

Draft Profile: Expect to see a ton of TE Jace Amaro draft profiles over the course of the next few months and this profile (via NEPatriotsDraft).
