Who's up for playing a little dashboard piano to some Ray Charles?

A lot of you are probably traveling this week, and I hope that your trip goes smoothly. It has to be better than Del and Neil's voyage to Chicago.

Arlington, TX

Like so many times this year, you guys bailed me out and handed me a nice list of eateries in the Arlington area. You might take a gander at the post for the previous Baylor game (I've included some recommendations from the comments) as well as last month's TCU game for a few more ideas.

Eddie Deen Crossroads Smokehouse (1004 N Collins St, Arlington)
Marquez Bakery (1730 E. Division St, Arlington)
Babe's Chicken Dinner House (230 N Center St, Arlington)
Mellow Mushroom (200 N Center St, Arlington)
Hibachi 97 (770 Road To 6 Flags St E #146, Arlington)
Habaneros (2100 E Lamar Blvd, Arlington)

TTU Alumni Pregame Party

Whether you're a Red Raider in the DFW area or are making the trip to Arlington from Lubbock, we'd love to see you at the Texas Tech Alumni Association Pregame Party! The event will take place right across the street from AT&T Stadium in Fishbone Grill starting at 11:30 a.m. and is a perfect place to hang out with fellow Texas Tech alumni prior to the game. Tickets for the event are $35 for adults and $15 for children. Register today at!

The price of the ticket includes all-you-can-eat BBQ, beer*, margaritas* and soft drinks. A cash bar will also be available. Don't worry about missing out on any of the other games either, as there will be 10 HD flat screen televisions. See you in Arlington!
