LINKS | I'll have an open thread up at 11:00 am to discuss the games of the day and then the game day thread goes up at 5:00 pm. Let's do this.
- Television Stations | From the official site here's where you need to get your eyes on the TV:
Suddenlink (Lubbock) - Channel 281
Time Warner (Dallas) - Channel 906
Charter Communications (Fort Worth) - Channel 300
Charter Communications (Dallas/Park Cities) - Channel 184
DirecTV - Channel 677 (677-1 HD)
Dish Network - Channel 446 (9516 HD)
AT&T U-Verse - Channel 691 (1691 HD)
Verizon Fios - Channel 77 (577 HD) - Odds | The line opened up at 27 and has moved to 27.5 at some books. That's a pretty big line, but thus far, Texas Tech is 3-0 against the spread.
- Profile on Scott | The LAJ has a pretty good profile of DT coach John Scott, Jr. who talked about how important his mom was to him and his connection to Texas Tech:
One of Scott’s best friends is Oakland Raiders defensive line coach Terrell Williams, who he met at an NCAA Minority Coaches Academy. Williams happened to have worked with new Tech defensive coordinator Matt Wallerstedt at Akron and recommended Scott to Wallerstedt and Kingsbury.
Go read the whole thing, you'll be glad you did. - Looking for Offense | The LAJ also has a bit about the offense getting back into gear, which I don't think I'm not worried about. To go ahead and get all of the other LAJ links linked up. The LAJ also has a match-ups and quick hits articles this morning.
ACTION | Two videos from the official site and one from our friends at the DT:
