1. Sick . . . Again | First it was the kid, and then it was my wife over the weekend. I essentially took over taking care of the kiddo during the weekend, and then, late Sunday night, I started to feel bad. And then yesterday I was coughing and it felt like someone was punching my lower back. I feel better today. I think this is four times I've been sick for this school year.

2. Don't Tweet at Recruits | This is really one of my pet peeves, so I'll be brief. This past weekend, former Red Raider Wes Welker tweeted at a potential recruit. I have no idea if this kid was really a recruit for Texas Tech or even has an offer, but whatever. I should say that I think that it is only a violation, I think, if Welker is a booster, and has given money to Texas Tech. I assume that's the case, but a lot of people seem to be making that assumption. Someone needs to tell Welker to let the coaches do the recruiting. Of course that goes for everyone. Don't tweet at recruits. When recruits are sitting on twitter and wanting to get attention or more follows, don't do it. Just let it go. If you write for a website and you are a booster and an alum, then you are committing a violation. There is a reason why I don't tweet or even mention twitter handles, and it is because I don't want you all tweeting at recruits either. DON'T TWEET RECRUITS.

3. Tapsoba to Compete with Burkina Faso National Team | Congrats to C Kader Tapsoba for being selected to compete for the Burkina Faso national team!

4. Big 12 Conference Catchup | CBS Sports has a good recap of the spring in their Big 12 conference catchup.

5. Academic Scandal at North Carolina | I don't think I realized how bad it was at North Carolina and the academic scandal they are going through.

6. Defensive Quality Control Coach | Baker University coach Matt Brock will apparently be the new defensive quality control coach at Texas Tech.

7. 13 on USTFCCCA All-American Team | I don't have time to detail this so go see the link, but there were 13 athletes that were named to the USTFCCCA All-American Team. Congrats!

8. Murphy Committed | The LAJ has more on Belton OT Justin Murphy who committed to Texas Tech yesterday.

9. Football Camp Notebook | The LAJ also has a lot of notes on yesterday's Rockwall camp. If you are into recruiting, then go check it out.

10. Bush at #8 on Critical 20 | RP has DE Dartwan Bush at #6 on their Critical 20 list.

11. Oliver at Los Lunas, NM | The LAJ catches up with former Red Raider Duane Toliver, who is the new head coach at Los Lunas, NM.

12. New Face Mask Concept | SI with an interesting look at a new face mask concept. I think a double-t would look pretty cool.
