Odds and Ends
Thank you all for sticking with SB Nation yesterday. I know the technical support folks have been working day and night to solve whatever is happening (I don't understand). I hope they can have a few beers soon.
Totally Texas Tech with some new photos of the Jones AT&T Stadium photographs.
Supporting the Red Raider Club, Fearless Champions and your student-athlete graduates:
Pretty darned cool. That's the way you get people to donate money.
SB Nation looks at the upcoming battle between ESPN and Fox Sports.
Our good friends over at BON take a look at Texas Monthly's release of the new top 50 BBQ joints. Let BBQ talk begin!
Golf
The men's golf team is set to tee off in Ohio for their NCAA Regional. Good luck and Wreck' Em!
Baseball
The baseball team got off to a fast start yesterday, but ended up lost 8-5 last night to Arizona St. The LAJ recaps the loss. The LAJ previews the Bears, which is the last series of the season, and the LAJ also looks at the disappointing season of the baseball team. The hope is that some of these guys on the team get better and incoming recruits like Casey Meisner, who was profiled at Perfect Game, make a significant impact next year.
Men's Basketball
Head coach Tubby Smith talked about recruiting and rebuilding Texas Tech with the Amarillo Globe News and there was a ton of Q&A going back and forth. VTM reader FortyYearCatFan linked to this article from Illinois Prep Bulls Eye that mentioned that they believe that former Minnesota assistant coach Vince Taylor was instrumental in Chicago forward Alex Foster committing to Texas Tech. I've got a profile on Foster coming up later this morning. Last, but not least, the official site has their official press release of commitment PG Robert Turner.
Football
