CRAWFORD READY TO BE IN LUBBOCK | WreckEm247 has an article on incoming JUCO cornerback Dorian Crawford:

"The offense is going to be real crazy and the defense is looking good," Crawford said. "(Defensive back coaches Trey Haverty and Kevin Curtis were) telling me we are young in the defensive backfield, but we got some players, some young dudes who are going to make a big impact. I just have to compete and that’s it. They know I can play, I just have to keep doing what I’ve been doing. I’m looking at that corner position on the left side."

There's a lot more there, so go check out the entire article.

BIG 12 BOWL GAMES TO BE RE-DRAWN | According to the DMN the Big 12 bowl games are being re-drawn and there are details there, but here's a tease:

Spoiler alert: Expect the Valero Alamo Bowl to inherit the AT&T Cotton Bowl’s role as an elite matchup. Look for a trade of bowl resort cities, with Orlando replacing San Diego. And Memphis’ Beale Street could become a yearly destination for a Big 12 team.

SOONER SPRING RECAP | RRS has their spring recap of Oklahoma and like a lot of you, I have my doubts about what Blake Bell can do offensively.

As an aside, I'm working on my format for previewing the teams this summer and I'm working on trying to create infographics for each team. It's a process, but I think it will be really cool if I can get this done.

HERBSTREIT ON THE LONGHORNS | Per the DMN, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit (hat-tip SAEN) wonders if Texas is tired of being made fun of:

Texas on paper looks good. Until I see it, it’s hard for me to buy in. This has been going on for three years now. Until you see this team play with a bit of a chip on its shoulder and play with an attitude, it’s going to be the same old, same old. But maybe they’re tired of being made fun of and their head coach being made fun of and maybe they’re ready to do something about it.

Herbstreit also opines on Oklahoma St. and Baylor, saying that OSU is a legitimate program at this point and Baylor is about Art Briles.
