Odds and Ends
The before and after satellite image of the West explosion. Help if you can.
Softball
The softball team was swept by the Longhorns this weekend with a 4-1 win over Texas Tech yesterday. The LAJ notes that this puts Texas Tech and their chances of post-season play in jeopardy.
Baseball
The baseball team did manage to get a win yesterday 9-3, but lost the series to the Oklahoma Sooners. The LAJ recaps the game.
Football
I didn't post about this because it seemed strange on some level, but this was first put out there by @Arkansas_Logo on twitter who appears to be a fan, but not a reporter or run any sort of website, stating that he's heard that Texas Tech and Arkansas will have a home-and-home series with Texas Tech starting next year, the first game being in Lubbock. RRS's Chris Level then modified that initial tweet (I didn't have time to pull the original tweet from @Arkansas_Logo). It's now being reported on the DMN college blog, so I guess I feel a bit better posting it, but this seems really strange way to break news about a possible non-conference game.
The official site, LAJ and DT have updated stories on the four football players that had signed free agent deals, including QB Seth Doege, OL LaAdrian Waddle, OL Deveric Gallington and S Cody Davis. RB Eric Stephens will attend a New Orleans mini-camp and I haven't heard from WR Darrin Moore.
