Red Raider Gridiron | Eric Morris: "You Don't Catch, You Don't Play"

Eric Morris goes all-access and it is as fun as you think it is. Texas Tech AD Kirby Hocutt talks about Kliff Kingsbury and Cantrell is to play in the THSCA All-Star Game.

STORIES OF THE DAY

"You don't catch, you don't play." Great stuff from the video embedded below as we get All-Access from Inside Receivers coach and Co-Offensive Coordinator Eric Morris. I think it is hilarious to see this coaching staff so excited and ready to play. I don't tire of this stuff.

The official site has a page dedicated to the spring game. Scoring and I'm sure that they will update it over the course of the next few days. I've tried to consolidate everything into one page that you can print off and bring with you.

I'll have a separate post later today to explain why I did this, but I wanted to create something that I would actually use during the spring game and I came up with a depth chart and added the information regarding the scoring at the bottom of the page.

NOTEBOOK

HOCUTT TALKS KINGSBURY | Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt spoke with CBS Sports Dennis Dodd regarding Texas Tech head football coach Kliff Kingsbury. I think you know most of the stuff that's there as Hocutt has said most of these things before. Kingsbury was never an Aggie and Hocutt would like to schedule Texas A&M at some point, but the two programs aren't currently discussing this game. As pointed out in the comments, when Hocutt was asked about Texas always playing at home on Thanksgiving:

Question: You're playing at Texas on Thanksgiving night this season. Is it important to the league to have that Texas game in Austin or should they occasionally go on the road on Thanksgiving?

Hocutt: "I defer to [Texas AD DeLoss Dodds]."

CANTRELL TO PLAY THSCA | Congrats to incoming freshman WR Dylan Cantrell who will play in the Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game.
