Morning links: odds and ends, track and field, tennis, men's basketball and baseball.

ODDS AND ENDS | An excellent article from SBN's Paul Flannery, a Boston native, the chaos of two days ago and people finishing the race today.

TTU Red and Totally Texas Tech with some new photos of the new Raidertron. Really cool.

Would you like to see a Red Raider carved into 500 pounds of cheese?

TRACK AND FIELD | The men and women teams remain in the top 20.

TENNIS | The men's team drops to #46 and the women's team remained at #15.

MEN'S BASKETBALL | According to the FWST and the LAJ, although I believe that Chris Level was the first to break the news, Texas Tech head coach Tubby Smith is set to hire TCU assistant coach Pooh Williamson is set to be named as one of the assistant coaches. Williamson was supposedly largely responsible for TCU's recruiting class and he is a guy that has Texas ties after coaching at TCU and Texas A&M. Williamson also played for Smith when Smith coached at Tulsa. I think this is a really good hire.

BASEBALL | The baseball team was supposed to play two games against Rice, but the second one that was to be played today was canceled. The game that happened yesterday was played and Texas Tech lost 11-2. The LAJ recaps the game.
