Reviewing the Redshirts | OL Trey Keenan

Fans tend to forget about the players that redshirted the previous year. This is an attempt to remind you about those players.

PLAYER: Trey Keenan

POSITION: Offensive Line
NUMBER: 77
HEIGHT: 6’6"
WEIGHT: 280
HIGH SCHOOL: Argyle (Argyle, TX)

Well. Hello very athletic offensive tackle that could maybe project to a couple of positions depending on his size. It's nice to see you. I think I really liked Keenan's skill set when he committed and I really like it looking back at his tape. In fact, this makes me quite happy because I had forgotten how athletic Keenan is as a high schooler. Keenan's Texas Tech profile has him about 10 pounds heavier than in high school.

In looking back at Keenan's profile, he was (and is) an athletic tackle that had a hockey background and his father went to Michigan. He choose Texas Tech from a handful of suitors as he has a bit more Texas in him that Michigan. In any event, one of the reasons why I do these reviews is that I tend to forget how talented how some players are and Keenan really falls in that category. I really forgot how athletic he is athletically and if he's added some decent weight, then he's just as a legitimate shot for a spot as anyone else.
