Good morning. Not a lot of football news out there, so we'll touch on some of the high school commits that are doing all sorts of things in the post-season.
And yesterday, as you well know, was a rough day for SB Nation as most of the sites were down for the better part of the day. These things happen on the internets, but we appreciate you sticking with us.
Also, please consider this your open thread for the day and don't forget to bookmark SB Nation's Bowl Schedule & Calendar. Here are today's games

Argyle Wins State Championship: Congrats to Texas Tech commits WR Ian Sadler and S Connor Wilson as their Argyle team beat Fafield to win Argyle's first state championship. Sadler's performance was one for the ages, truly incredible and as I mentioned yesterday, I have no idea why some of Texas Tech commits aren't up to a 4-star, and that includes Sadler. I've never really been able to see a lot of film on him, but after watching him, all I can think is "Smoother Operator". Just looks effortless running out there. Sadler finished with 182 yards, 109 rushing and 73 receiving, and scored 4 touchdowns, including a 65 yard punt return for a touchdown. He really was amazing and was named the MVP of the game.
Mahomes Named Texas AP's Player of the Year: The accolades continue for QB commit Patrick Mahomes who was named the Texas Associated Press Player of the Year for Texas. Make sure and read the whole article as they talk a bit about how Mahomes wasn't sure that football was in his future a few years ago and thought that baseball would be his only option. Good stuff.
