So that game last night, huh?  I have a basketball commit profile that should drop sometime today, plus SARR's and my weekly conversation and I also did a conversation with Rock Chalk Talk that I think is going to be published on RCT and I'll drop on VTM for your good times.

  • Ward Continues to Work | From the LAJ is their question as to the issues with WR Eric Ward and as noted yesterday, he was about on the same pace last year after the first four games, so hopefully this is something that Ward can get straightened out.  The article is actually good and mentions how QB Michael Brewer (Ed. I needed more coffee before writing this) team manager Robert Smith and Ward have stayed late the past three years working after practice. Here's Ward on Brewer Smith:
"He’s been staying out there with me for about three years," Ward said. "I’m taking up his free time. He’s available to do it, so I appreciate him coming out there doing it for me. He comes out there and helps me with the routes and stuff."
Go read the whole thing, I enjoyed it this morning. Also from the LAJ has match-ups, but we did that yesterday, but with a graph!
  • Previews Galore | Lots of previews from various places. We'll start with our friends at the DT, who write about how Texas Tech looks to stay unbeaten, from KUSports, Kansas head coach Charlie Weis is excited for homecoming, from the KC Star a look at the road traveled by starting QB Baker Mayfield and from CJOnline the Kansas running game concerns Co-DC Matt Wallerstedt.
  • Predictions | CBS Sports and FSSW predict the weekend games.
  • TV Schedule | People need schedules and SB Nation has your college football schedule for the weekend.
