Good morning. Here's the schedule. I've got the Game Day Threads going up at 10:00 am; 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Then, I have the college football general open thread going up at 2:30 pm. I hope I have everything covered.

Also wanted to mention that the soccer team won in Norman against the Sooners, 2-1, both goals for Texas Tech coming in the second half. The highlights are here and the second goal is a thing of beauty. They play again on Sunday in Waco. The volleyball team plays this evening in Ft. Worth against TCU.

  • Red Raiders Wary | The LAJ has an article about how Texas Tech is wary of Iowa St. and they also have match-ups for the game.
  • From Player to Coach | The LAJ also has an article talking with some of the coaches about the difference between being coaches and players.
  • Spike Dykes Day | The LAJ was at the luncheon on Friday for Spike Dykes Day for the Lubbock Area Foundation.
  • From ISU | From the Iowa St. side of things, The DesMoines Register on how Iowa St. is so close to making the big play and The Gazette has a preview of the game, picking the Cyclones.
