2012 Double-T Nation Roll Call

I am incredibly late on this, but I try to make this an annual tradition. In fact, I started this way back in 2008 (I didn't invent the concept). It's a place for you to post who you are, where you come from and your affiliation to Texas Tech.

Here goes. I have had my life saved (not literally) three different times. 1) Me being able to attend and graduate from Texas Tech; 2) marrying my wife; and 3) adopting my son.

I graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in December of 1996. I have major in English and a minor in Education. I was three hours away from a minor in Spanish, but never finished that and I regret that now.

I taught high school for a year and a half after graduating from Texas Tech. Then I decided I wasn't done going to school and went to law school for the next three years at the real UT, University of Tulsa. In 2005 my wife agreed to marry me and in 2010 my wife and I adopted a little boy from Ethiopia, Fitsum. He is our only child and we also have two dogs.

I am incredibly lucky to have what I have and am grateful for the education and life experience of attending Texas Tech and living in Lubbock. For those people that didn't attend Texas Tech or live in West Texas, this last sentence will not make any sense. That's our inside joke.

I normally write on Double-T Nation for about 10 to 15 hours a week. I do get paid by SB Nation, but that money is promptly delivered to my wife as penance for making her a single mom for 5 months out of the year (not really).

I'd love to hear your story, who you are. Even if you have done this before. Also, if you want to post a photo of yourself, then the photo must be hosted by some other website. Maybe Facebook or Flickr or Photobucket or something else. That means if you have a Facebook account and you have a photo of yourself and your family, you can right click on the photo and then select, "Copy Image Location". Then you do the following in a comment (not in the subject line and obviously replace "PUT IMAGE URL HERE" with the Image Location):

You do not have to post a photo of yourself if you do not want do, it's not a requirement.

So let's hear from you. I would appreciate you "recommending" this FanPost to get it at the top so we can hear from everyone over the course of the next few weeks.
