Texas Tech Football Ring of Honor Open Thread

I'm going to be away from the computer for most of the day and wanted to just give you a forum to discuss Texas Tech's inaugural Ring of Honor that is set to be announced at 9:30 this morning. I mentioned earlier this week that you can follow @techathletics or @blaynebeal for the announcements, or you will see the DTN Texas Tech Twitter List on the right side of the page, just below the FanPost section.

I intended to write more about this, but never found the time, although I did appreciate the FanShot on the topic from last week and learned a handful of things about some former players that are deserving.

UPDATE: The inaugural Texas Tech Ring of Honor will be Donny Anderson, E.J. Holub and Dave Parks.

I think this is about as good as a start that you can have and for me personally, I wanted to see some of the players from generations past get in first. Here's the official site press release.
