ODDS AND ENDS | I slept way too late this morning so sorry for the delay. I am excited about a post that's coming up later this morning, scheduled post is around 9:00 am so make sure and check back then.
GOLF | Per the official site, congrats to Beverly Mendoza for qualifying for the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship!
BASEBALL | Per the official site, congrats to RHP Jerad McCrummen for making the Northwoods League All-Star team with a 4-1 record and a 2.68 ERA during summer league play.
MEN'S BASKETBALL | LAJ's Nick Kosmider is reporting that F/C Rodrigo Silva has decided to leave Texas Tech and play professionally in Brazil. This is a blow to the team's front line as Silva was expected to provide some much needed height at the center and power forward spot.
FOOTBALL | The LAJ continues their series of positional previews and up next is LAJ's Nick Kosmider's look at the secondary. Lots of good quotes about the players in the secondary from defensive coordinator Art Kaufman.
KCBD has a short story about QB Seth Doege competing at the Manning Passing Academy.
RP.com's Joe Yeager continues his look at the Critical 20 and up next at #8 is WR Eric Ward.
CBS Sports takes a look at the players most likely to be drafted, including underclassmen. I don't know that they truly have a good handle on the players that could potentially be drafted, as CB Jarvis Phillips was a player that just missed being on the list.
The official site continues with meeting the two-deep with RG Beau Carpenter and DE Christopher Knighton. Both vidoes are after the jump.
