ODDS AND ENDS | So DTN is back in the t-shirt business. I've had to revise some things, as you can see and we print the name of "Double-T Nation", but thanks to the ever-witty San Antonio Red Raider, the logo to the right says, "DTN: It Means What You Think It Means." There should be ads running on DTN now, so if you see those, it's to sell t-shirts and you can also purchase t-shirts through Double-T Nation's Game Day Depot page, which was set up for folks in the SB Nation universe. If you want to see a bigger version of the logo, click here. Thanks to all that made this happen, including the logo designer Warren, Joel at Rocky Top Talk and SARR for making all of this happen.

Make sure and check out Totally Texas Tech's new campus pictures. Lots of construction (as always) and lots of fantastic photos.

I'm also going to try to add a table to the right for everything that's been posted this week. I hope that's helpful and a good waste of time on a Friday.

This Week on DTN
* Red Raider Gridiron | Catch Rates and Target Percentages
* Recruiting on the South Plains | PG Josh Gray
* Red Raider Gridiron | Offensive Depth Chart and Availability
* Red Raider Gridiron | Dustin Walton to Transfer to Texas Tech
* Texas Tech Football Offseason Theorems | Production Rate of the Big 12 Defenses
* Report | Big 12 Set to Hire Stanford AD Bob Bowlsby as Big 12 Commissioner
* Red Raider Gridiron | Defensive Depth Chart and Availability

NCAA AND BIG 12 | This was somewhat lost in everything that's happened over the last few days, but CBS Sports Bryan Fischer tweeted that Texas Tech President Guy Bailey was appointed to the NCAA Executive Committee. I would think this is a pretty big deal.

As you all know, the Big 12 Conference is set to announce Stanford Athletic Director Bob Bowlsby as the new Big 12 Commissioner today. You can actually watch this online if you want. Anyway, anytime that there is college news from the West Coast I usually turn to Mercury News' John Wilner for his thoughts and he had this bit yesterday about Bowlsby:

If you know Bowlsby at all, then you know he thinks he can handle the Longhorns and Sooners — he is certainly not lacking for swagger.

Why would the Big 12 offer him the job?

Bowlsby is well respected within the college athletics industry, and with good reason: His handling of Stanford basketball not withstanding, he’s a very smart guy who knows football and understands (and enjoys) the media/TV end of things.

He was a key player in the Pac-12 hiring Larry Scott and has consulted Scott on numerous league matters the past two years.

And he’d probably do very well negotiating future TV deals for the league.

TEXAS TECH GOLF | Congrats to Gabby Dominguez and Kim Kaufman for being named to the All Big 12 team!

TEXAS TECH SOFTBALL | The official site doesn't have a preview, but they do have a short article about how the softball team's weekend series with Oklahoma St. will start on Saturday and will also celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

TEXAS TECH BASEBALL | There's weekend post going up some time today as Texas Tech will travel to TAMU for the final time in a team sport. In other news, per the official site, freshman SS Tim Proudfoot was named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List.

TEXAS TECH FOOTBALL | Per DMN's Mike Graham, congrats to former Red Raider Sam Fehoko for signing a free agent deal with the Philadelphia Eagles!
