TEXAS TECH TENNIS | A huge congratulations are in order to the Lady Raider team for being the first team in program history to earn an NCAA berth and has a #2 seed and plays in Miami. The Red Raider team earned their sixth straight NCAA post-season appearance and received a #2 seed and will play in Berkley. Congrats to both teams and coaches.

TEXAS TECH BASEBALL | Texas Tech defeated New Mexico St. 12-7 last night (official site) behind two three-run home runs from Stephen Hagen. LAJ's George Watson recaps the game.

RED RAIDER BASKETBALL | LAJ's Nick Kosmider has a short article on the commitment of Josh Gray. There's not much there.

TEXAS TECH FOOTBALL | There is a Q&A in the LAJ with AD Kirby Hocutt about the third tier television programming and I very much enjoyed it. Definitely a must-read.

Per the official site, FoxSports Southwest will air the Texas Tech spring game eight times over the next few weeks. Make sure and set your DVR if you didn't get to go to the game.

The football tickets are open to the general public, whatever that means.

Last night, New Mexico QB Dustin Walton made it official and has decided to transfer to Texas Tech. He'll have to sit out this year, but will have three years of eligibility remaining. I'll have more on Walton a bit later.
