ODDS AND ENDS | These photos made the rounds yesterday, but they are amazing and they haven't been seen before. A bunch of photos of New York City from over 100 years ago.

TEXAS TECH SOFTBALL | The softball team travels to Kansas this weekend to start their final road trip (official site). DT's Matt Villanueva previews the series.

TEXAS TECH BASEBALL | There's not going to be any separate baseball post today because the official site hasn't come out with their game notes and I use that to prepare my post. I'm sure the official site will post something this morning, Scott Lacefield is tireless. Nevertheless, the LAJ's George Watson writes that Texas Tech is in desperate need of wins and DT's Brett Winegarner notes that Texas Tech takes on Missouri for the last time. [UPDATE by Seth C, 04/27/12 7:37 AM CDT ] As expected, the official site released their notes for the weekend series, but I don't have time to create a post this morning.

RED RAIDER BASKETBALL | Earlier this week, I opined that there might be a greater than zero chance that PG Josh Gray would commit to Texas Tech as it appeared that he said his goodbyes to Kansas St., who was apparently the other school on his list. Well, @TheRecruitScoop tweeted that Texas Tech was expressing interest in PG Trey Dickerson (6-1 | Price | Los Angeles, CA). Dickerson doesn't have any significant offers, maybe an offer from Seattle, The Recruit Scoop noted that in March, Dickerson was getting more looks and there is this quick scouting report from MaxPreps. According to 24/7 Sports, he averaged about 14 PPG and 84. APG. Gray might be option A and Dickerson might be option B.

TEXAS TECH FOOTBALL | LAJ's Don Williams talked with former Red Raider Wes Welker yesterday, who was in Lubbock yesterday.

RP.com's Joe Yeager has the offense for the All Forgotten team.
