What's at Stake: Tech will be fighting to get their 5th conference win and to tie the series up with the Cyclones. The Iowa State Cyclones are looking for their 15th win of the season and to get their 4th conference win in a row. The Cyclones are looking to snap a four-game losing streak in the state of Texas.
Comments: Tech has been up and down over the last few weeks and it would be great for them to get back to the style of play they had earlier in the season. To finish the season strong they need to win this home game and use it as momentum to continue to win.
The Texas Tech women's basketball team is proud to take part in breast cancer awareness month and play its "PINK" game today against Iowa State. The Lady Raiders will be sporting special pink Under Armour uniforms and will have several ways of raising money during the game for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Play 4Kay is an opportunity for a nation of coaches to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. The official charity is the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in partnership with The V Foundation and Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
