I have never enjoyed typing the title to a post more than this one. Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt has named Texas A&M offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury as the head coach of Texas Tech.

I don't have much commentary now, but I am sure that I'll have more to write tonight and tomorrow morning.
Wrap your arms around this and hug it real tight.
I would also like to give a big thank-you to Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt. This is a no-brainer of a hire for us fans, but this wasn't necessarily an easy choice for an athletic director to make as this is going to be the hire that maybe shapes his legacy at Texas Tech.
