* Defensive coordinator for Titans interested in Tuberville's job - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock and Jerry Gray Did Not Contact Texas Tech about Job Opening [Updated] | This is actually pretty funny. As you all know, KCBD is Pete Christy. I think that most of the other reporters in Lubbock do not think very highly of Christy as a reporter (a good guy, but maybe not a guy that they think highly of in terms of reporting and inside sources). The first link is from Christy and the second link is 1340 going to the trouble of contacting Gray and getting quotes from him where Gray says that he's not interested in the Texas Tech job and he didn't want to mess up the Texas Tech job search with false reports.

* Morris says rumors are false | The Clemson Insider | Yesterday, flights were tracked and things of that nature and we find out from RRS.com's Chris Level that no interviews took place yesterday and some will possibly happen today. So Morris is probably telling the truth here.

* Tech might swipe Kingsbury from A&M, Manziel - Aggie Sports: Aggie Sports | Long time Aggie reporter Robert Cessna weighs in on Kingsbury to Texas Tech.

* Tech football notes: Brown's hiring at Kentucky made official | Red Raiders | We already talked about this yesterday, that Brown has officially accepted the offensive coordinator job at Kentucky and you can expect RB coach Chad Scott to do the same. Glad for both of those coaches. Also in the notebook, CB Will Barrow de-commits and OG Alfredo Morales is having surgery to repair a shoulder. I'm not too concerned about de-commits right now, it will come together soon enough.

* Texas Tech Football in NYC for NFF Awards - YouTube | Good stuff about Cody Davis and Gabe Rivera's recent trip to New York.

* OSU's Todd Monken going to Southern Miss | Tulsa World | Monken was sorta a candidate, perhaps just with fans speculating as to candidates.
