Also, I've been posting most things (I sometimes forget) on DTN's Facebook page in the last week or so. I'm sure some of you probably didn't know that DTN had a Facebook page and that's probably because I ignore it. Anyway, I'm trying to be better about this. You can "like" DTN's Facebook page or you can "follow" DTN on Twitter, or you can do both. I'll try to start adding the links below (I don't think they're too intrusive) to future posts.
1. New Mexico State No-Hits Texas Tech in Regional Opener - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE
Dang. They'll play again tonight, but to get no-hit is no bueno.
2. Texas Tech Falls in Slugfest to No. 22 Oklahoma State, 11-10 - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE
Double dang. Just get one win and Texas Tech is in the NCAA Tournament. John Neely gets his first loss of the year (9-1) so it's hard to fault the team too much. They know they need at least one win too.
3. Red Raiders In Contention Heading Into Final Round In Tucson - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE
Woot! So you're saying there's a chance? The team has slipped to 7th place and need to finish in the top 5 to advance.
4. Spokane's Arena football coach enthusiastic about Sheffield | Lubbock Online | Lubbock Avalanche-Journal
Go get 'em Sheffield.
5. Texas Tech Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt on the Williams & Hyatt Show [AUDIO] - SportsRadio 1340 The Fan
Excellent stuff from Ryan Hyatt with AD Kirby Hocutt. A must-listen.
6. Tech officials hope clubhouse improves Rawls course shortfall | Lubbock Online | Lubbock Avalanche-Journal
Another interesting topic, as the article focuses on the fact that the Rawls Course has lost money for quite some time and are hoping the new clubhouse remedies this.
7. Daouda Soumaoro, 6-9, 220-pd PF from Our Savior, has signed with Texas Tech - Double-T Nation
Woot! I'm linking to DTN. Just wanted to mention this from yesterday, it appears that Texas Tech has signed a 6-9/220 power forward, which is good news as the basketball team needed some depth along the frontcourt. Here's Soumaoro's ESPN and Scout profiles.
