As always, DTN is not a political blog, but I think it would be impossible to escape last night's news (Inside the raid that killed bin Laden - Yahoo! News).  I think Peter said it best on BON, I hope we take the time to chant "USA" rather than quibble over any sort of politics.  And as noted from the picture above, much thanks to Brian Holland (HollandKCBD) on Twitter for taking the picture and posting it on his Twitter feed.  Kudos, sir. 

And to bring it back to sports, they celebrated in Philadelphia during last night's game and thanks to The Dagger, how college campuses celebrated.

1.  Red Raiders Finish Sweep Over Jayhawks with Dramatic 8-7 Win - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE and Raiders finish sweep of Jayhawks with ninth-inning bases-loaded walk | Red Raiders and Walk-off win gives Tech its first Big 12 sweep since ‘06 - The Daily Toreador: Sports | Sweep the leg!  By winning those three games Texas Tech now sits at tied for 5th in the conference with Kansas and Baylor.  The Red Raiders have a series remaining at Missouri and at home against OKlahoma St.

2.  Five-Run Seventh Sends Texas Tech Past No. 14 Nebraska - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE and Tongate gets Tech started in win vs. Nebraska | Red Raiders | So happy for the Lady Raiders softball team to get a conference win.  

3.  Tech Competes at Payton Jordan Cardinal - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE | The track and field team finish a really long weekend.
