1.  Tech Completes Nine-Game Road Trip at Kansas State - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE and Red Raiders must work to make tourney | Lubbock Online | Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and Red Raiders continue road trip with series at K-State - The Daily Toreador: Sports | A huge series starts this Easter weekend.  As Watson correctly notes, if Texas Tech wants to be assured of making the NCAA Tournament, the Red Raiders need this series.  And after the tremendous work last weekend, two true freshmen, David Paiz and Trey Masek, are starting this weekend.  Do work.

2.  Tech won't catch break in next season | Lubbock Online | Lubbock Avalanche-Journal | Nothing really new here, but Texas Tech spokesperson Blayne Beal says that having the bye-week in second week and then 11 games in a row isn't ideal.  Gagree.

4.  Tech Closes Season at Baylor and Texas A&M - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE and No. 41 Lady Raiders finish season on road - The Daily Toreador: Sports | Good luck to the Lady Raiders tennis team.  Remember, they're going for a conference championship these last two weeks.

7.  State of hoops: Rivalries among neighbors - College Basketball - Rivals.com | Yahoo! Sports' Jason King lists the top 5 programs in the states of Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Indiana, California and Ohio.  King lists Texas Tech in the top 5 in the state of Texas, which is great and I'm pretty sure that King is driving the "Billy Gillispie Will Make Texas Tech Relevant Quickly" Bandwagon.  I'm cool with that.

9.  Bob Knight apologizes for comments about Kentucky basketball - The Dagger - NCAAB Blog - Yahoo! Sports | The interesting thing is that Bob Knight has made these types of comments before, but this past week, he referenced a particular school, Kentucky, rather than just make a generalization, thus creating a firestorm amongst the Kentucky faithful.
