Crossing paths with Texas Tech basketball recruit Ty Nurse | Lubbock Online | Lubbock Avalanche-Journal | Linehan reports that Ty Nurse, the point guard at Midland College last year, is visiting Texas Tech. Linehan has an awfully confusing and round-about way of connecting the dots as to who he is and we don't really know anything else about him. Google is your friend. Let's see if I can help. Nurse led Midland College to a 33-4 record this year, but he's not really a scoring guard. And here's a bit about what type of player Nurse is, via Rivals:
Ty Nurse, PG, Midland- One of the most highly recruited point guards in the junior college ranks, the native of Vancouver, British Columbia was solid. He doesn't wow with athleticism or flash, but he takes care of the ball, gets his team into their offense and makes some shots when needed. He's also an excellent free throw shooter which is huge during crunch time. He reported offers from Nebraska, Creighton, Santa Clara, Rhode Island and Sam Houston State.
