Texas Tech has it's 19th commitment in JUCO cornerback Justin Rogers. The problem is that I can't find much about Rogers, so I'm putting an all-points-bulletin for any good, strong DTN readers that can find some additional information or free video on Rogers. Let's get to it.

The Player Speaks: LAJ's Don Williams has a short article on Rogers committing to Texas Tech, but no quotes. It's been incredibly tough to find information on Rogers, in fact when most of his recruiting bios stated Arizona Western C.C. and I couldn't find any information that Rogers so much as played for AWCC, I became frustrated. Only after reading Williams short article did I figure out that Rogers played for Copiah-Lincoln CC last year.
Since I couldn't find any video or articles about Rogers, I thought I'd trace his steps on how he got to AWCC. Rogers is originally from Alabama and was initially part of the 2008 Nebraska Cornhuskers recruiting class. Rogers played running back in high school, but was pegged as a defensive back by Nebraska, again per the biography. Big Red Network then reported from head coach Bo Pelini's press conference on August 4, 2008 that Rogers did not report to Lincoln to play football. Then on September 2, 2008, Husker Extra's Brent C. Wagner reported that Rogers did qualify academically and was on campus. That's the last I hear of Rogers and Nebraska or really any news at all. Couldn't find much, if any information on Rogers and his trek to Mississippi to play at Copiah-Lincoln CC or why he's transferred to AWCC. If anyone can find any information on Rogers, please post in the comments.
Now to Rogers' offers, which appear to be as follows:
Rivals: Arizona, Arizona St. and Oregon St.
Scout: Arizona St. and Oregon St.
ESPN (actually "also considered"): Arizona, Arizona St., Oregon St., and UAB
That's all I got. For the most part, I think Arizona, Arizona St. and Oregon St. are pretty good football schools, but there's just so little go on at this point.
Video: None.
Scouting Report: None.
Justin, welcome to Texas Tech and Git Your Guns Up!
