Tough day, especially considering the fact that the Red Raiders out-hit Baylor, but came up short against the Bears (recap). Starting pitcher Miles Morgan (4.1 IP; 7 H; 8 R; 6 ER; 2 BB; 7 SO) had a rough evening, responsible for 8 runs, but only 6 earned. Reliever Cory Large (3.2 IP; 1 H; 0 ER; 0 BB; 5 SO) was outstanding in relief of Morgan and because Chad Bettis did not pitch last night, I'm thinking that he gets the start against Baylor on Sunday. Offensively, there were a lot of hits (10), but no run production. DH Scott LeJeune (1-2; 1 RBI) and RF Taylor Ashby (1-4; 1 RBI) managed the only RBI of the day.
