Texas Tech Sunday Morning Notes - Harris and Young Try to Qualify for the Olympics Edition

Double-T Nation News:

I've been laying low a bit over the last two days. Trying to work on articles/posts for DTN as much as possible. I'm going to save the football news and articles for Monday morning. Go enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Texas Tech Track:

Patience Knight could not complete her dream to make the U.S. Olympic team, although Texas Tech still has two former Red Raiders in Shawon Harris, who will be running in the semifinals of the 110-meter hurdles this afternoon and Jason Young, who will be throwing the discus in the finals.

Send some good thoughts and mojo Harris' and Young's way this morning.

DMN's Kate Hairopoulos has a story on D'Andra Carter's talented family that's worth your time.
