Texas Tech Baseball:

Sun. 04/06/08 @ 1:05 p.m. Chad Bettis (3-1, 4.75) Aaron Pribanic (2-1, 2.41) Boxscore

Again, I'm completely jealous of those Corhusker ERA's. That's a solid group, but perhaps Texas Tech will have the same type of performance as they did against those Missouri pitchers.

LAJ's George Watson previews the Nebraska series, while Watson also takes a look at first baseman converted to reliever, James Leverton. Leverton had this to say about the move:

"I give all the credit to Coach Spencer with the mental side of it, I think," Leverton said. "I think the physical part of it had been there, but he got me thinking like a pitcher and being mentally ready to come out of the pen in a tough situation. He is really good at getting guys ready for that."

And pitching coach Dan Spencer on Leverton:

"The thing about Lev is we expected Lev to be good, but he is the most surprising guy as far as how well and how far he's come and how good he's thrown, basically the whole year," Spencer said. "He also brings great stuff and great competitiveness, he's smart and doesn't put himself or the club in a bad position because he usually inherits a bad situation, so there's no room for error."

Fox34 previews the game including interviews with Coach Hays and Nate Karns.
