AJ Ramos Out For The Year

Per LAJ's George Watson, AJ Ramos is having surgery to repair a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow. This explains quite a bit as Ramos has really struggled of late. Ramos will have Tommy John surgery and pitching coach Dan Spencer had this to say:

"AJ is a very tough kid and top-notch competitor," associate head coach Dan Spencer said in a statement released by the school. "He has been pitching hurt all season long and didn't want any of us to know because he desperately wanted to help our club. He will get through this surgery and I have no doubt that he will be back at full force when we start up again next year."
