The team looked good for most of the way, but couldn't hang on in the 10th inning, losing to K-State, 7-4.

Silver Lining: Chad Bettis had a quality start, going 6.1 innings, giving up 7 hits, 3 runs, all earned, walking 1 and striking out 4. James Leverton pitched 1.1 innings of relief with 1 hit, no runs, no walks and 1 strikeout. Just for comparison purposes, 72% of Bettis' pitches are being called strikes while Ramos could only get over 44% of his pitches for strikes on Friday night. Willie Rueda and Joey Kenworthy continue to hit the ball at the top of the lineup, each garnering 2 hits and an RBI. Roger Kieschnick went 1 for 5 with an RBI as well.
